So Many Choices For Great Cuisine in Niseko – What Strikes Your Fancy?

Review after review indicates that the cuisine in Niseko is world class. There are standard Japanese delicacies such as okonomiyaki, sashimi, sushi, incredible steaming bowls of hot noodles and broths but there is also a variety of ethnic dishes available that will make every taste bud water.

If you prefer a thick steak with salad, side dish and a glass of wine, you can find it at not only some of the resort restaurants, but many of the restaurants located within the Village as well. If you would like to try a delicious Korean BBQ, then you should visit The Yakiniku Yotei restaurant. This is truly an experience you will not soon forget. There is a coal grill pit in the center of your table and you get to grill your own seafood and meat. This is a wonderful fun and social way of enjoying a meal. Finely sliced fish and fresh chunks of mutton are always on the menu here.

Mexican, Italian, Indian, Indonesian, and even American food can be found in numerous locations throughout the Village as well as in the resort dining rooms. A great advantage of the resort dining rooms, the majority of them are open to the public so you do not have to be a guest of the finest resort in town in order to enjoy a meal there.

For sushi lovers, a visit to Fuji Susi Restaurant is a must. As it boasts the most famous Susi in all of Niseko. Whereas, the Restaurant Maru says they are reasonably priced and offer all of the local Japanese cuisine in a traditional Japanese atmosphere. Part of that means, be sure your socks are not filled with wholes and are clean, because you will need to check your shoes at the door!

Niseko Pow Wow has become a great hang-out for foreigners and skiers from the Australian area. A large selection of beers, wines and spirits, as well as strong coffee and a variety of items on their lunch and dinner menu’s has made this local hotspot a favorite amongst the visitors to the island. Once the lights go out in town, then this place really gets hopping. The satellite sports channels make sure you will not miss a single football or rugby game while you are in Japan skiing the slopes all day.
